How to Get the Lazy Gem (XP Share) in Coromon
Go to the library in Hayville, the first major town you enter after leaving the Lux Solis campus. The library is located to the left of the well in the middle of town. It’ll open up after you’ve found the blacksmith, Perrin, and he takes your gauntlet to work on it. Once inside the library, head to the left, then up to the second floor. Speak to an NPC with a bunch of books on his head named Jebediah. He’ll challenge you in a quiz called the Battle of Wits, which has you answer 17 questions. Answer 12 correctly to get the Lazy Gem.

What the Lazy Gem Does
The Lazy Gem is a hold item that allows the Coromon holding it to earn a small percentage of XP even if it doesn’t battle. This is the perfect item for training up weak Coromon, so be careful not to miss it when going through this first town. Missing it can make grinding and leveling up your squad much more tedious.
